The purpose of the  association is to promote the sport of rodeo and to insure honesty and fairness to both the producers and contestants, to create an agreeable relationship between the committees, stock contractors, and contestants; and to sanction and advertise rodeos in accordance with the Texas Cowboys Rodeo Association standards.

Contestants:  To draw out, it must be in the 24 hour grace period after books close. Either call the Central entry Office or the T.C.R.A. office (806) 878-2782.  If no one answers, leave a message stating your name and event to draw out; otherwise you are entered.  After the grace period, you can call to notify of a turnout to prevent an un-notified turnout fine.
