VALENTINES DAY!
Once again, it is time to start working on
2012 donations for the finals. Remember,
sponsors acquired at the first of the year will receive full advertising
benefits from the Cowboy Times. Don’t
wait to get your donations as it cuts into a sponsor’s advertising
dollars.
“Off
Season Special Events”: If interested in holding an off season event
please contact the TCRA office or Director to schedule an event. These “Off
Season Events” must be approved by the director and these events will charge
the 6% sanction fee. At “Off Season
Events,” memberships will be sold on site; however,
cards must be purchased before competition.
Money won at these events will count towards the 2012 standings but will not count towards the All
Around. Check the rodeo listings for
further information and dates.
Any new
rules or amendments will be posted in the Cowboy Times and on the website. The
2010 rulebook is posted on the TCRA website for any information. The 2012 will be posted soon and is at
printers.
The Board
meeting in January was after the deadline for the Jan/Feb issue. There will be a MEMBERHIP RODEO March 2nd
& 3rd at VERNON, TEXAS. There will be a rodeo each day with an average
buckle to event winners as well as All Around.
The average will be a side pot and money will count towards standings. Watch
the updated news on the website as the entry will open before the MARCH issue
comes out. Finals will be in Vernon,
Texas August 31, September 1 & 2.
