Contestants:   Buy your card earlier for the 2010-year.  You will stop receiving the Cowboy Times, so renew your 2010 membership to keep receiving the paper.  Keep ahead on the news of the T.C.R.A.   You will find an application in the January/ February issue of the Cowboy Times. 

 

  Once again, it is time to start on the 2010 donations for the finals. The steer wrestler can vouch for the great sponsorships as their event paid the most at the finals.   Hurry and get your sponsorships early as the sponsors get ads in the Cowboy Times and the later you wait to get your donations it cuts into their advertising dollars.

The 2010 Board met to discuss the “Off Season Events” outside the rodeo season due to our limited rodeo season.  The board agreed to have “Off Season Events” until June 1st and resume November 1 thru December 31, 2010.  Rough stock events will be schedule through the stock contractors who wish to participate and the timed events will be schedule by the event Directors and these events must be approved by the director.   All “Off Season Events” will charge a non member $10.00 permit if not a 2010 T.C.R.A. member and these events will charge the 6% sanction fee.  At these “Off Season Events” memberships for 2010 will be sold on site and money will count towards the 2010 standings.  Money won will not count towards the All Around.  Check the rodeo listings for further information and dates.

 

Ranch Bronc riding will be a TCRA sanctioned event in 2010.  The top ten (10) Ranch Bronc riders will compete at the finals.  This event will be optional with the committees and stock contractors in 2010.

 

Any new rules or amendments will be posted in the Cowboy Times and on the website.  The financial statement is available to any member upon request through the TCRA office.
