Contestants:  Know your card number and anyone else’s card number you are entering.  CASH only at all approved TCRA rodeos.  Some producers may accept checks but please know their check policy before you try and give a check at one of their rodeos.  Remember you must have purchased a current TCRA card three (3) days prior to the first performance or slack for your money to count at that rodeo.  You can purchase a card at the rodeo but your money will not start accumulating till the next weekend.

TURNOUTS:  You must notify the central entry secretary or the TCRA office if you are turning out , doctor release, or barrel racers on a vet release. If you need to draw out prior to the rodeo, you must contact the central entry secretary to draw out  24 hours before the start of the rodeo at (806) 276-5672. If the rodeo starts on Thursday night at 8:00 pm, you must call by Wednesday night before 8 pm or you are considered entered.  The releases must be turned into the TCRA office 7 days after the performance in which you vet or doctor release out of or you are liable for your fees.   (If you cannot reach the central entry secretary, please contact or leave a message with the TCRA Office at (806) 878-2782.  The fax number is (806) 878-2287.

Sponsorships:  As usual, please HELP your Director get donations for the finals in your event.  Sponsor packets can be obtain through the TCRA office or ask your Director.  A Director is responsible for getting $1500 donated or that money comes out of an events added money at the finals.  Please remember jackets are optional.  the number of first approved rodeos is down in 2008, so any extra donations would be appreciated by your Director.  If you know a business that would like to be a sponsor, please have them contact the office or your event Director.  Sponsorships are down this year so jump in there and help!  If you see your event has not gotten any money, jump in and HELP!  Don’t leave all the work to your Directors!

Co approved Rodeos:  Remember in KPRA/UPRA you cannot draw out.  If you enter and can’t go, you will have to pay your fees.  You must notify their office if a doctor release and a vet release (barrel racers only) is used.

Results:  Results will be posted on the website (www.tcrarodeo.com) just as soon as the TCRA office receives these results from the rodeo secretaries. Please be patience.  Remember all results and standings published are not official.

Fourth of July:  Good luck to everyone.  The fourth runs are going to be good for the contestants as Amarillo and Wellington starts off on Wednesday, followed by Canadian and ending on Sunday with Shamrock.   There still will be lots of money to win over the fourth.   I pray safe traveling over everyone and have FUN!
