There will be lots of money to win over the fourth.   I pray safe traveling over everyone and have FUN!!

Barrel Racers:  Troyce Sturgess is the newly elected Barrel Racing Director. Contact Troyce to help her with donations for the finals.

Contestants:  Reminder:  Entry operators need your card number, please have it available when entering.  Entering a buddy group, please have all card numbers you enter. Call TCRA office for card numbers.  Don’t forget to right down your conformation number.  CASH only at all approved TCRA rodeos.  Some producers may accept checks but please know their check policy before you try and give a check at one of their rodeos.  Remember you must have purchased a current TCRA card three (3) days prior to the first performance or slack for your money to count at that rodeo.  Cards can be purchased at the rodeo but your money will not start accumulating till the next weekend. Cards may be purchased by a credit/debit card at the TCRA office.

TURNOUTS:  You must notify the TCRA office or rodeo secretary with a turnout, doctor release, or vet release (only barrel racers). You may draw out within 24 hours after the books close at (806) 878-2782. If the books close at 2:00 pm on Monday you must call by 2 pm on Tuesday or you are considered entered.  The releases must be turned into the TCRA office 7 days after the performance in which you vet or doctor release out of or you are liable for your fees. If you do not speak with anyone, leave a message with your information such as name, rodeo, event and time you called or fax your information to 806.878.2287.

Sponsorships:  As usual, Director’s need HELP with donations for the finals.  A Director is responsible for getting $1500 or that money comes out of the events added money at the finals.  All money obtain for your event will go to your event.  Ask the bulldoggers about their payoff in 2009!!!!  Please remember jackets are optional.  If you see your event has not gotten any money, jump in and HELP!  Don’t leave all the work to your Directors!

Co approved Rodeos:  Remember in KPRA/UPRA you cannot draw out.  If you enter and can’t go, you will have to pay your fees.  You must notify their office for a doctor release or a vet release (barrel racers only).

Results:  Results will be posted on the website (www.tcrarodeo.com) just as soon as the TCRA office receives results from the rodeo secretaries. Please be patience.  Remember all results and standings published are not official.

RULEBOOKS:  If you have not received a rulebook, please contact the TCRA office.

 New Policy

At all first approved TCRA rodeos, a contestant not holding a TCRA card must secure entry, by a credit/debit card or a current TCRA member in good standings entered in rodeo.  Any contestant entered not holding a 2010 TCRA card or fees not guaranteed by a TCRA cardholder must contact the TCRA office within the 24 hour grace period to give credit/debit card information; otherwise, contestant will be drawn out of rodeo. If a TCRA member guarantees a non TCRA card holder’s fees and the contestant does not show at rodeo, the TCRA member is liable for the guaranteed fees at the rodeo.  After books close, all contestants have 24 hours to draw out of rodeo entered.

Explanation of Credit Card:

It is a FEDERAL crime to give false credit card information…………..

Anyone can pay entry fees or fines with a credit / debit card. Contact the TCRA office with current information which will be kept on file in the TCRA office. A contestant paying fees with credit card must authorize the payment upon entering a first approved TCRA rodeo. Credit card will not be accessed until after the 24 hour draw out period and information must be given within the 24 hour draw out period through the TCRA office.  This will help to guarantee the pay-off at rodeos and hopefully slow down the non member turnouts which have grown rapidly in numbers over several years.

If a TCRA member does not show / turnout at rodeo, his/her entry fees must be paid before entering another TCRA rodeo.  The fine / turnout fees collected will be placed in that particular events bonus finals fund as in the past.  All fines must be paid before contestant can enter a first approved TCRA rodeo.
