&n= bsp; Due to the snowy weather in the Panhandle of Texas, the first winter board meeting was cancelled. The TCRA Board of Directors met Wednesd= ay, February 10^th in Pampa, Texas.

The Central Entry will be combined with the TCRA office for 2010. All entries will call the TCRA off= ice 806.878.2782 to enter first approved TCRA rodeos. Due to the economics and system the board wants to incorporate for 2010, the board believes having one office w= ill make the transition much easier. &nbs= p; This leads to another matter of economics. Over the years, the amount of rode= os which no longer exist makes each year harder to survive and keep moving ahead. It was the board decis= ion to raise the dues $25.00 straight across the board to help offset the loss of these rodeos. Those who have = sent dues in early received a bonus of the old rate. Current memberships will be:<= /o:p>

Contestants will be $125/ Non-contesting $85.00 / Stock Contractor $100.00.<= /span>

You may be pleasantly surprised with the look of your March issue of Cowboy Times. Cowboy Times is under = new management as Matt Cramblett and his family pur= chased the paper. March will be your= last issue until you renew your membership for 2010.

Membership Rodeo:&= nbsp; the date and place for the membership rodeo was not finalized at the meeting but the board did want the membership know that there will be a membership rodeo in May. The = board is working on a goal of $2,000 added to each event with buckles to the winn= er. Watch for further information on t= he website and April issue.

Meeting with TCRA Committees and Stock Contractors is tentatively set for April 11<= sup>th in Amarillo, Texas at the Ashmore Inn & Sui= tes at 2:00 pm. Please watch for fur= ther information to follow in April issue as well as on the website.<= /span>

2010 TCRA FINALS: Once again, the = exact dates have not been finalized for the finals. The finals will be in Vernon, Texa= s but the board is looking at several different dates than in 2009 due to the conflict with the Southwestern Region College rodeos.

There were several new Stock Contractors who put their names in for first year TC= RA approval. Hopefully, these new contractors can generate new rodeos for the Association for the 2010 year.<= o:p>
